Megrino vows to stop Pongsaklek

Former 2-time Pan Asian Boxing Asscociation (PABA) flyweight ruler Rey “Delubyo” Megrino vows to destroy WBC and The Ring Magazine world flyweight titles holder “The Thunder Puncher” Pongsaklek Wonjongkam.

The fight is to take place at a celebrity boxing match to organised by “The Ring Magazine” this Friday in Nakorn Pathom Province, Thailand.

Megrino’s team arrived in Bangkok on Tuesday night (June 29) via a Philippine Airlines flight. Megrino spoke to Thai reporters saying that he likes to fight in Thailand because he won both his PABA flyweight belts here.

Last July, Megrino took his first PABA belt by an unexpected KO in round 5 won over the title holder, Ratanapol Kokietgym, who is a former 2-time IBF world mini flyweight champion. He also regained the vacant title by an impressive KO in round 3 over Fonluang Krathingdaengym in December 2009.
